We left for San Francisco on Sunday and I had a blast! My girlfriend was going there for a nursing presentation that was being put on by Johns Hopkins at the JW Marriot. So, we took the hour Journey into San Francisco and went to her presentation. It was very informative for her and I'm glad she got the chance to go. I also got a chance to take a few pictures from the 26th floor of the Marriot. The view was AMAZING! I'll post them at the bottom along with other pictures of the trip. Afer we got back from her presentation we stopped by her Cousin's house in SF. They have a beautiful house and two adorable babies (Twins, one boy and one girl). Since Kayla had opened that morning and neither Kayla or I were brave enough to have me drive in San Francisco we just spent the night there. We had taco's for diner, and then just went to sleep. In the morning we said our goodbyes to her cousin and the twins and were on our way to be tourists in San Francisco. We cheked out Lombard Street, the crookedest street in the world (seen below).
We also got to hang out at Fisherman's Wharf. There's so much to do there and this took up most of our time. We Saw Ghirradelli's, Pier 39, althouth most of the Sea Lions are gone now. and so many cool stores and alcatraz and the golden gate bridge. We originally wanted to take a tour of Alcatraz but aparently you have to book in advance and we didn't get that done, I also wanted to see Golden Gate Park and we weren't able to get there either. So I guess this gives us an excuse to go back!!! :)
We also went to rainforest Cafe and ate there and I got them to sing to Kayla since it was her birthday soon. She told me she would kill me if I ever did that, but I'm still standing so I guess she was bluffing. :)
Anyway, today is her Birthday so I got a bunch of her friends togather to have Diner with her at Cheesecake Facotry in Sacramento. Now I just have to get her out of bed... |
